A man has been killed and another man is in a critical condition after a shoot-out took place in Plein Street in Johannesburg yesterday morning.
At approximately 11h20, ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene and found a man with fatal injuries. There was nothing paramedics could do for him and he was declared dead. Another man sustained a serious gunshot wound and he was rushed to hospital for further medical care.
Two more men, believed to be bystanders, were found with moderate injuries. At this stage it is not clear how they sustained their injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not yet known to our paramedics.
Local authorities were on the scene when paramedics arrived.
