The police are investigating case of armed robbery after a 51 year old man was robbed his personal belongings. It is alleged that on 30 May 2019, at about 13:15 the victim was at BP Garage in Fourways filling petrol in his BMW when he was approached by suspects.

While the victim was in his vehicle, with the window opened, he felt something touching him next to his right ear. When he looked up he saw two unknown armed men, one of them pointing him with a firearm. It is further alleged that the suspects instructed the victim to open the door and handover everything that he had.

Items that were robbed includes wrist watch, wedding ring, black leather briefcase which contained one apple McBook silver in colour, five Mont blanc pens, wallet with undisclosed amount of cash and bank cards.

The value of the robbed items is about R378 000.

The suspects left the scene driving in a silver sedan. They were all dressed in black clothing and wearing balaclavas. No shots were fired and no injuries.

Police are calling for anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of the suspects to contact the nearest police station or call crime stop on 08600 10111.
