A man, believed to be in his 30s, was killed last night in an alleged hit-and-run incident at the Main Reef and Shaft Road in Luipaardvlei, west of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 21h50 to find the body of a man lying in the middle of the intersection.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life.
Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.
The vehicle in question was not found on the scene.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
