A 47 year old man was shot and killed on the morning of 25 June 2019, outside a business on Quinn Street in Newtown, Johannesburg. ER24 personnel arrived on the scene shortly after 08:00 to find security members and local authorities already in attendance.
On further inspection, medics found a man lying on the pavement. Assessments showed that the man had sustained several gunshot wounds and showed no signs of life. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
