Yesterday, Best Care Ambulance Service learned that Mr. Stephan Harris was declared ‘Brain dead’ at Kalafong Hospital.
Stephan was assaulted in the Bremer Street squatter camps almost two weeks ago and was rushed to Kalafong Hospital in a critical condition. Mr. Harrris showed improvement over the last week and was eventually taken off life support to breathe on his own.
Paramedic, Xander Loubser, from Best Care, stayed in touch with the family the entire time and confirmed the release of this official statement.
