ER24 paramedics treated and transported a man to hospital after he was shot in the head in Joubert Street, in Vereeniging, earlier today.
Upon arrival at the scene, paramedics found the man believed to be in his 30’s lying on the sidewalk.
Upon assessment of the patient it was found that he was in a critical condition.
He was provided with advanced life support interventions and taken to hospital for further medical care.
The exact details surrounding the incident are unknown.
