A 30-year-old man was left critically injured last night when he was shot in the Mooiplaas Informal Settlement in Centurion.
ER24 paramedics were called to the scene when local authorities requested medical assistance.
Upon arrival, paramedics found the man lying in the back of a bakkie (pickup truck).
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained gunshot wounds to his arm and chest and was in a critical condition.
The man was immediately treated for his injuries and thereafter transported to Kaladong Hospital for urgent treatment.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
