A 26 year old wanted suspect was arrested earlier today at around 11:00 at Stinkwater village in Temba, north of Pretoria.
Members of Crime Intelligence and National Intervention Unit (NIU) managed to trace the suspect following cases of murder, hijacking and armed robberies, which occurred in April this year around Soshanguve and another robberies allegedly happened last year in Limpopo.
He was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and 14 live rounds of ammunition and a motorbike without registration which is alleged to be involved in commission of a crime.
He will appear at Moretele Magistrates’ Court in due course facing charges of possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
The police expected to arrest more suspects soon.
