A middle aged Refilwe male has been arrested by Cullinan police after he allegedly shot his wife.
The police conducted a thorough search in the early hours of Monday, 24 July 2017 and managed to arrest the suspect.
According to information, an eye witness alleged that he was sleeping at his place of residence when he heard the suspect and his wife arguing, followed by shots being fired.
He then called the neighbors for assistance only to find that a 30 year old female victim was in critical condition and the suspect ran away.
The Ambulance and the police were called and the victim was taken to the hospital.
The suspect will soon appear before Cullinan Magistrate’s Court, facing a charge of attempted murder.
