A man was left injured on the afternoon of 8 July 2020, in a shooting between local authorities and suspects following a robbery at a bank in a mall in Centurion.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 14:40 to find numerous authorities on the scene. One man was found lying next to a light motor vehicle being assessed by another service.
On assessment, medics found that the suspect had sustained a gunshot wound to his pelvis and was in a serious condition.
The man was treated for his injuries and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
