As women’s month draws to a close, Sergeant Minky Letadi and Constable Amanda Mahlangu together with their counterparts ensured that Johannes Mabethwa was handed down a life sentence after he was charged with premeditated murder that took place in November last year .
The sentence was handed down by the high Court following a meticulous investigation. The convicted Johannes Mabethwa (62) was arrested after intense investigation, after the body of his girlfriend was discovered strangled and dumped at Schurveberg and Church Streets in Atteridgeville .
The Station Commander, Brigadier Mbangwa Nkhwashu expressed his gratitude for the good work conducted under the leadership of Colonel Philemon Siwela, the Branch Commander. He further stated that criminals will no longer be roaming freely in Atteridgeville as the Police are squeezing crime out of the area.
