Krugersdorp siblings back in court for triple murder

Brother and sister, Leroux and Marcell Steyn, are expected to appear in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, where they face charges for the triple murders of an estate agent and two insurance brokers.

The Krugersdorp siblings and their two co-accused allegedly killed Hanlie Lategan, Anthony Scholefield and Kevin Mcalpine within a three-week period in May this year.

The siblings, 29-year-old Christian Kruger and 32-year-old Fabian Luff appeared in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court on July 13. The court denied bail to the Steyn siblngs and Kruger. Luff dropped his bail application.

Luff secured a legal representative of his choice, while his three co-accused were represented bu a Legal Aid South Africa lawyer.
