Judgement postponed in modelling boss’s rape case

The high court sitting at Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court postponed judgement on Wednesday in the case against model agency boss Dawie de Villiers.

De Villiers is facing a range of charges including rape, sexual assault, sexual grooming, intimidation, fraud and possession of child pornography.

He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

Judge Cassim Moosa told De Villiers that he had previously requested that he be notified that the matter would be postponed and his counsel could attend on his behalf.

De Villiers’s bail was extended.

The case was postponed to December 14.
