The Restaurants Association of South Africa has expressed concern about the increase in armed robberies at restaurants in Gauteng.
The latest incident was in Verwoerdburg where customers were robbed at a Pizza restaurant. In Midrand, 40 customers were held up at a franchise restaurant. A customer who was armed wounded one of the robbers.
No arrests have been made, in both of the incidents.
