Drift Reaction cc received a report about a couple who arrived home after some shopping at a nearby mall on Friday 29 March 2019, at about 19:10. The women said that her husband parked the car outside their house and as she got out of her car she heard two shots.
She screamed and ran to get help from a neighbour. When they returned they found her husband lying on the ground. He was deceased. It is also unknown if anything was taken by the suspects.
According to Constable Slindile Ntuli, Corporate Communications officer at the Muldersdrift Police, the motive for the murder is unknown at this stage and the matter is under intense investigation.
