At approximately 02H05 on Tuesday 27 February 2018, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting at a cottage on a property in 12th Street in Parkmore, Sandton.
Paramedics from Netcare 911 and the Provincial Ambulance Service attended to the patients. Reports from the scene alleged that two suspects were shot during a robbery at the residence.
One suspect sustained severe injuries and died at the scene while the second suspect had been shot in the upper body and leg.
He was in a very serious condition and was attended to by Advanced Life Support paramedics, once stabilised he was transported to a hospital for the urgent care that he required.
Both the men were estimated to be between twenty and thirty years old.
Local SAPS were on the scene to investigate the incident.
