During the early hours of Saturday morning, 30 June 2018, a client contacted the Drift Reaction control centre and requested help. He said he has been trying to get hold of his family but they were not answering their phones.
Tactical units reacted and met up with the client at the gate. They went into the house with him where they found his wife and children were overpowered and tied up by three aggressive armed suspects earlier during the night.
They took three flat screens, cell phones and other valuables and fled the scene.
Thank goodness the family were not physically harmed although traumatised after the incident.
This is in the same street as the incident in which suspects forced the kitchen door and made off with laptops. It might be the same gang!
