Hijackings in South Africa happen everyday and once again, the Police have managed to apprehend three suspects who hijacked a bakkie in Pretoria. The perpetrators were armed and apparently committed an armed robbery in Monument Park. Fortunately the police were patrolling the hi-way and acted swiftly to prevent criminals from escaping the law of justice.
High-speed chase on R21 from Pretoria earlier this evening by South African Police Services (SAPS). Chased a hijacked bakkie,hijackers also committed an armed robbery in Monument Park in Pretoria.
Ex policemen who was on the highway at the time, joined the chase and apparently shot at the tyres of the bakkie which resulted in the bakkie losing control and crashed into the barriers. All three perpetrators were ejected from the car. One of the suspects attempted to flee the scene but was shot and wounded in his leg.
