The Rietgat Gauteng Traffic Wardens, in collaboration with Tracker and Loate VISPOL, recovered hijacked vehicles following responses to tip-offs.
* In the first incident, members received information about a hijacked Toyota Etios that was taken in Pretoria West. The officers located and recovered the vehicle in Block X, Jukulyn.
*In another operation, officers were alerted to a black Renault that had been hijacked by three armed suspects in Ga-Rankuwa. Within an hour of the hijacking, the vehicle was tracked and recovered in the North West (Mmakau) area.
