The Gauteng Traffic Police and Gauteng Traffic Wardens Central (STT) received a tip-off about a hijacked Toyota Quantum moving through Jabulani.
Officers pursued the vehicle and, with support from TrackerSA. The suspects abandoned the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot.
One suspect fell, sustaining head injuries, and was apprehended. A firearm was discovered in his possession during a search.
Officers continued the pursuit, apprehending another suspect, while one managed to escape.
Both suspects were arrested.
