At 19H20 Friday evening Netcare 911 along with multiple other Emergency services responded to reports of a serious collision on C.R Swart Drive in Randburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that two light motor vehicles were involved in a collision.
Two people sustained serious injuries.
Due to the nature of one of the patients injuries the Netcare 1 Specialised Helicopter ambulance was called to airlift one of the patients to hospital.
The Fire and Rescue Services as well as Law enforcement officials were on scene and will investigate.
