SAPS divers and dogs of the Search and Rescue team recovered three bodies last week following a heavy downpour of rain earlier this month in the Gauteng province.
The dedicated team worked tirelessly to recover the bodies of persons who were swept away; they were driving along the R562 road to the M18 road, Tembisa.
The first body was recovered on Wednesday, 9 February 2022 and two more bodies on Thursday, 10 February 2022.
Community members are urged to immediately contact Emergency Services when they are in danger.
