A 34-year-old security guard sustained three gunshot wounds in an attack in Three Rivers in Vereeniging during the early hours of this morning.
At the time of their arrival, ER24 paramedics found the guard sitting in a security vehicle.
The man sustained gunshot wounds to his shoulder, hip and upper leg.
He was assessed and transported to Mediclinic Vereeniging for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known to paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
