The first phase of the operation which is conducted by the detectives throughout the province saw 1079 wanted suspects for serious crimes being arrested.
On the night of 22 April 2023, Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Mawela led a roadblock held at Molefe Makinta road in Ga-Rankuwa where several people have been arrested for drunk and driving, contravening the Immigration Act and possession on drugs.
One vehicle was also impounded and the driver arrested for contravening the Road Traffic Act.
