Johannesburg Flying Squad members were busy conducting a stop and search operation in the Sandton area when they received information of an imminent business robbery in Woodmead.
Police swiftly followed the information and spotted the vehicles fitting the description given in Maxwell Drive.
Police managed to pull over the vehicles in question.
When they searched the vehicle and the suspects, 2 firearms with serial numbers filed off were recovered.
The four suspects were arrested in Midrand, Gauteng.
They were using a silver Audi and a Blue Renault Sandero.
