Swift response by the Johannesburg Flying squad resulted in the arrest of four suspects and the recovery of two stolen vehicles today at around midday in Brixton, Johannesburg.
The police were on a lookout for a stolen motor vehicle in Bryanston, when it was spotted in Empire Road.
A police chase ensued and the suspects were cornered at Brixton. Four suspects aged between 28 and 38 were arrested and the stolen vehicle and a getaway cars were also recovered.
The suspects will appear soon at the Sophiatown Magistrate’s Court soon facing charges of possession of stolen motor vehicle.
