A former SANDF General appeared in the Pretoria North Court on charges of promising 295 job seekers work in the army.

Petrus Ndaba, a 55-year-old SANDF general, was found guilty of murder in 1993 and released after serving six and a half years of his 10-year sentence.

According to the prosecutor, Ndaba has a history of charges ranging from assault, fraud, crimen injuria and hijacking against him.

Job seekers apparently paid between R300 and R800 to Ndaba for registration and R1 800 for training.

He was recently kicked out of a house in Karenpark due to nonpayment of rent.
