Man critical after attack on a smallholding near Vereeniging

On Thursday, October 13 another brutal farm attack took place on Kameeldrift, Leeufontein smallholdings, situated in the City of Tshwane.

Three armed suspects entered the smallholding that is situated next to the one where Johann Heunis was shot two weeks ago. Corrie Henn aged 50 and Yoalanda le Roux aged 42 were attacked by three armed suspects.

The suspects loaded valuables into the victim’s vehicle and then tried to execute Corrie with a shot to his head. Fortunately, the weapon misfired and Corrie pounced on the suspect. A fight ensued and a shot went off hitting Corrie in the leg. The suspects assaulted Yoalanda during the skirmish.

The suspects fled with the victim’s Lexus and valuables.

Corrie was admitted to hospital and is in a stable condition.
