A farm murder took place on 20 August 2020, at 01:30, in Mooiplaats, Boschkop, near Pretoria, in the Gauteng province of South Africa. At least two attackers were breaking the security gate of the man’s home on his smallholding and the noises alerted him, he phoned his neighbor, a policeman, for help.
The attackers suddenly opened fire on the the man through a glass door killing him instantly. The attackers then continued to break off the gate entering the home and stealing the mans phones.
The man’s wife and two small children, who were in the home, were not physically harmed, but have been left severely traumatized by the attack.
There have been no arrests, police are investigating. There is no other information available at this stage.
