A senseless farm murder took place in Heidelberg, Gauteng on 3 October 2018, between 01:00 and 02:00. One male victim around 69 yrs old was attacked by 5 intruders in his house. He was shot multiple times and killed. A security guard alerted the police and it has been reported that at least one attacker was arrested on the scene and that another one was arrested at a nearby informal settlement.
There is no other information at this stage and police are investigating.
