A farm attack took place on the morning of 7 September 2020, at 01:00, on a smallholding, in Benoni, East of Johannesburg, in the Gauteng province of South Africa. The farm workers were overpowered by an unknown number of attackers and one worker had acid thrown in his face causing extensive chemical burns. A neighbour fired a warning shot causing the attackers to flee.

The injured farm worker was transported to Tambo Memorial hospital by one of the respondents.

There is no other information available at this stage. There have been no arrests.
