A farm attack took place on 25 June 2020, at 04:00, in Lusthof, outside Pretoria, in the Gauteng province of South Africa. Three attackers, two of whom were armed with firearms, overpowered the victims in their home, assaulted them and tied them up. The attack lasted six hours, having started at 22:00 the night before, during which the victims, including a woman were assaulted and chocked.
The attackers proceeded to ransack the home and loaded a trailer with furniture, fridge and other household items.
The attackers then fled with two vehicles, a bakkie and a sedan and the trailer, belonging to the victims. The victims were not seriously injured but have been left severely traumatized. The vehicles were later recovered by responders.
There is no other information available at this stage. There have been no arrests.
