A farm attack took place on 14 August 2020, at 00:05, on a smallholding, in Rietfontein, Muldersdrift, in the Gauteng province of South Africa. Access by one attacker into the home was gained via a small window, he then let two more attackers in through the door. The victim (66), who suffers from polio, was assaulted, beaten over the head and tied up.
The attack lasted about 30 minutes during which time the three masked attackers robbed two laptops, a PC, two cellphones and cash. The victim managed to raise the alarm at 01:30.
Police are investigating the attack, there have been no arrests. There is no other information available at this stage.
