On February 2, in the early hours of the morning, intruders entered the property by cutting the electric fence and approached the tenant’s house in Nooitgedacht, Mudersdrift. The suspects shot a window where no burglar proofing was present and the glass was shattered.
Gaining entry into the house, the suspects stole a laptop, and a computer monitor and fled, firing shots at the barking dogs on the way out. The entire incident was over within minutes.
During the incident, the resident was not injured and the police together with local security companies arrived on the scene.
During 2015, the same resident was a victim of a similar crime.
The police are investigating the matter.
