Henk van der Mescht was attacked and severely assaulted on his farm in Steynskraal, Heidelberg, Gauteng on 11 August 2018 at 15:00.
Henk was ambushed and attacked when he stopped to move a log that was place in the road on his farm. It was impossible for him to make a u turn or escape as his bakkie has a trailer on. The attackers had previously been at his farm under the pretence of buying sheep.
There is no other information at this stage. The police are investigating and there have been no arrests.
