A farm attack took place on the evening of 23 September 2019, in Heidelberg, Gauteng province. When the farmer came home he was ambushed by five armed attackers at his gate. They smashed his window and threw him onto the bakkie and drove to the house where they demanded money. During the attack the farmer was forced to open safes where cash and firearms were robbed.
Two of the attackers wore balaclavas it is presumed that the farmer may have been able to recognise them. He was loaded onto the bakkie again, and was then dumped some distance from the farm. The bakkie was found in Nigel.
The rest of the weapons are still being sought, along with the attackers who all spoke to Zulu.
