A farm attack took place on 27 July 2023, at 11:00, on a farm in Hartebeesfontein near Cullinan, in the Gauteng province of South Africa.
Four attackers, of which at least one was armed, invaded the home of an elderly man.
The elderly man and his domestic worker were both assaulted and tied up.
The home was ransacked and the attackers then fled in the man’s silver Toyota RAV 4 with a number of household items.
A farmworker who saw the vehicle racing away, went to investigate and raised the alarm.
All role players responded to assist.
There were no serious injuries reported but both victims were severely traumatised.
The police are investigating but there have been no arrests.
