A farm attack took place on 23 october 2019, at 04:30, on a farm outside Hammanskraal, Gauteng province. A couple, Peet and Elsa Grobler were attacked by an unknown number of armed attackers on their farm. The couple were overpowered, assaulted and robbed. During the attack Elsa’s toe was shot off. The attack continued upto 05:11 when the suspects fled the scene.
The local community and security company launched an immediate manhunt in the area and tracked the attackers to the nearby Puma garage, Petronella on the Murrayhill road, at this stage however there have been no arrests. There is no other information available at this stage.
