We were shocked to hear that the celebrated Afrikaans author, poet and spiritual, Dr Tom Gouws, was killed last night in an attack on his smallholding near Hartbeespoort. He was 57 years old.
Dr Gouws was known for his poems “Diaspora”, “Troglodite” and “Syspoor”, as well as regular contributions to various national publications.
