A farm attack took place on 24 June 2020, in Welbekend, in the Gauteng province of South Africa. A family of four, including children aged 7 and 11, were overpowered, attacked and assaulted by five armed suspects. A gun was held against one of the children’s heads to force the father to open the safe.
Cash and jewelry stolen were robbed during the attack. The family have been severely traumatized. At this point there are no details of any injuries sustained.
