Farm attack: 3 Attackers open fire on Dutch tourists, Buffelsdrift

Two tourists from the Netherlands and their tour guide were attacked and shot at on a smallholding in Buffelsdrift, north of Pretoria, Gauteng province on Thursday afternoon 23 January 2020. The tourists were braaing with some other people when three attackers opened fire on them.

The guide escaped and ran for help causing the attackers to flee having taken nothing. There were no injuries but the tourists were left severely traumatized.

Neighbours who heard the shots called the Police who attended the scene but no arrests were made. There is no other information available at this stage.
