A farm attack took place on 9 March 2021, at 22:30 on a smallholding in Drift Blvd, Rietfontein, Muldersdrift in the Gauteng province of South Africa. Three armed attackers invaded a home by breaking in using crowbars and brutally attacked the Dean family.
The male victim was badly assaulted and his wife was assaulted and tied up. The attackers then ransacked the home taking tv’s, phones, laptop and other household items.
The attackers then fled on foot.
The man is currently in hospital receiving treatment for head injuries. The family have been severely traumatised and are receiving the necessary assistance.
Police are investigating but there have been no arrests. There is no other information available at this stage.
