Dennis Du Plessis and his family survived an armed robbery at home on the morning of 2 February 2018. “Thank God, all of us are okay” he said.
A shot that was fired went between his legs and into the floor. “My daughter fought like a lioness” he said. “You do not get a chance to think”.
He managed to get the four black men out the door with their gun, beer bottle and brick and managed to lock the door.
“It was a terrible experience but makes you more aware and prepared” he concluded.
