Soshanguve police and the K9 unit were on festive season operation on 14 December 2017, around midday when they received information of a certain house in Soshanguve Block 9, where illegal production of ID’s and doctors’ sick notes is believed to be taking place.
On arrival at the said house, a 42 year old man was arrested and a machine suspected of being used in the illegal production was seized.
Fraudulent SAPS salary advice’s, driver’s licenses and passports were also confiscated.
The suspect will be charged with possession of fraudulent documents and manufacturing machine.
He will appear in court soon.
