Local authorities have arrested two men aged between 21 and 24 on Wednesday evening, 7 November 2018 at Willem Erasmus Street in Erasmia. Crime prevention unit and Tshwane K9 members had been on routine patrol when they spotted a suspicious white VW Golf with two occupants.
They stopped and searched the vehicle and discovered that the men were in possession of Rohypnol pills and they failed to produce a certificate to possess such medication. Allegations suggests that this pills may be used to drug unsuspecting victim or to spike their drinks which could lead to being a target to criminals.
However the pills will be sent for forensic analysis. The pair will appear before Atteridgeville magistrate court soon.
A case of Possession of drugs is opened at Erasmia SAPS for further police investigation.
