On Monday March 13, 72-year-old, Buks Beukes was overpowered by two suspects on his smallholding situated in the Pienaarspoort, Rayton area.
Beukes was tied up and robbed by the two suspects, who fled with valuable household goods and a generator.
Camera footage helped to identify the two suspects and with the help of the community, and Hachtor, son of Beukes they managed to catch one of the suspects, linking him to the attack and robbery.
The police are continuing with the investigation.
