At approximately 18h25 on Tuesday evening 15 May 2018, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting on Republic Road in Ebony Park, Midrand.
Reports from the scene allege that the elderly male victim had been attacked in is car and shot multiple times. The man sustained fatal injuries and documentation pertaining to his death was completed by Netcare 911 and handed over to authorities at the scene.
The Provincial Ambulance Service also attended the incident.
The South African Police Services were on the scene and are investigating the incident.
