Duduzane Zuma’s legal team, on 16 May 2019, called two witnesses to testify in the culpable homicide and reckless and negligent driving case against him.

The defence called one expert witness, Konrad Lotter, as well as Michael Jankelowitz, an eye witness. The latter testified that he was on the highway the night of the incident and that it rained heavily.

The case has been postponed until 20 June 2019 when the state and the defence team will deliver their closing arguments.
