Drug dealers arrested in Eldorado Park and Sophiatown

In Eldorado Park, Johannesburg District, police from K9 arrested a man after he was found with drugs that includes heroin, mandrax, zip locks and crystal meth.

Police received information about a man that is dealing in drugs in Eldorado Park. A search warrant was obtained and executed. Upon searching the house, police found different kinds of drugs ready to be sold. The suspect is expected to appear at Lenasia Magistrates Court in due course.

Two suspects were arrested in different places in Sophiatown for dealing and possession of drugs.

Police officers from Crime Intelligence received information about a man that is dealing in drugs and members from K9 operationalised the information and pounced on the suspect at Sophiatown.

He was found with drugs that includes mandrax and zip locks. Further information led the police to another house in Sophiatown where the second suspect was arrested after he was also found with mandrax.

Provincial Commissioner of the police in Gauteng, Lieutenant General Elias Mawela, appreciates the sterling work done by members of Crime Intelligence, K9 and other units of the police as they continue to make inroads in the arrest of drug dealers and remove drugs off the streets of Gauteng.
