Police from West Rand K9 unit arrested a man on 25 April 2019, at about 07:45, after he was found in possession of drugs in his car. The Intelligence driven operation by members of West Rand K9 led to the recovery of heroin worth approximately R6 million and the arrest of the suspect in unit 24 Okahanja Street, Centurion.

Police followed the information of a man who is allegedly distributing the drugs to all the Provinces. Police have been doing close observation when they stopped a Toyota Corolla coming from the identified address.

During the search of the vehicle and the suspect, police found heroin. Preliminary investigation led to the suspect’s house where more drugs were recovered.

The arrested suspect will appear in Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Monday 29 April 2019.
